The 2007-2008 "Thirsty for Knowledge Thursdays" Lecture Series

(Reminder that lunch is provided at no cost to SNOPS members)

Lecture 1 - "Thirsty for Psychiatry" with Dr. Brian Smith will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 1, 2008 in Room A338

Lecture 2 - "Thirsty for Neurology" with Dr. Jayne Martin will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 31, 2008 in East Fee Hall Room A316

Lecture 3 - "Thirsty for Ophthalmology" with Dr. Micheal Rubin

Lecture 4 - Dr. Norma Baptista from the Statewide Campus System will be speaking on and answering questions regarding Neurology, Ophthalmology, and Psychiatry at hospitals throughout Michigan that are involved with our Base Hospital System on Thursday, March 13, 2008 in A316 in East Fee Hall.

Lecture 5 - "Thirsty for Psychiatry Part 2" SNOPS will be presenting the Americarn Psychiatric Association's (APA) video entitled "Psychiatrists in Action", as well as, an episode of "Dr. Katz" Courtesy of Dr. Brian Smith & the MSU Psychiatry Department -

April 3, 2008 in A316 East Fee Hall.

Walk MS: The Great Lakes Walk 2008

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society will be holding its annual Walk MS this year in Lansing, Michigan on Sunday May 4, 2008 at Potter Park Zoo. SNOPS has created its own team to walk for MS and in the near future will be asking YOU to become a part of the team and walk for a wonderful cause.
